I think a product called Durhams Water putty would work, as I have used it for rocket engine nozzles in the past. Mix it with water and graphite powder.

Have you tried building that thermoacoustic design? It is easy to picture a magnet on the end vibrating in a coil.

I'm going to try it, but turn the magnet 90 degree's.

So far the proper cans cost me $10. 6 - 16 ounce Budwiser, and 1- 8.4 ounce energy drink.
I hope it works because on further investigation of the youtube comments, I discovered the 16 ounce can was steel, not aluminum.

Even if it fails, at least you get the beer.

Reading more comments:
People are having problems getting this one to work.
But the design has lots of places to tweak.
Not too many nonglass versions of this out there
Thats why I like it.

First run was a flop.
Maybe the rubber was too tight.

It seems like you would have to get the tension just right. Either that or adjust the mass to get the natural frequency right.

I disassembled it and found the inside balloon melted. This is because the heat rises right up to it.
because the inside can has no bottom.
Also because the balloons are super glued to the cans it's not easy to experiment with. The rim of the can is not clean anymore.
If you don't get it right the first time it's trashed.
