Light weight bass guitar amp

This is a recent project.  It is a bit more polished than a flat amp I made a while ago.  I'm hoping to use it for playing the bass at evening services at our church.
I ordered a project box and some other hardware to finish up the electronics.  It needs a little more gain.  When that is done, I'll make another video and show the circuit board.

Nice wood working.
Couple suggestions.
I'm pretty sure that foam board would give better bass response, it has less mass plus its more compliant.
Also mounting two exciters on the same panel probably would set up interference waves and cancel out some of the sound, kind of like throwing two stones in a pond.

You could be right.  But the web site said that you could get lower frequency response with higher mass and larger panels.  I had made some speakers with 1/8" (3mm) ply before with decent results so I just made the panels larger.  Dayton Audio showed diagrams with as many as four exciters on a panel, so I didn't think two would be too out there.  It let me put one 4 ohm speaker on each channel of a stereo amp for a little more power out of a 12 volt supply.  I've got some parts on order and hopefully I can finish it up soon and see what it can do.

I think I'm going to call this project done for now.  I got the electronics in a box and it seems to work okay.
