Just found this using rain water to make electricity, thought some may enjoy it

If it actually rains enough to be meaningful, I think I would move before I needed a houseboat.   :D

The rain gutter generator probably will make more electricity than my thermal electric generator, which was very dissapointing.

I think  if you  added  a rain barrel  or 2 you  could  improve  its running  time  and get  2 charges out of the  same  water

Catching the rain at a higher elevation and hold it in a barrel would store more energy.
