Just seen this video.
I originally thought that this was an awesome idea, then started thinking about it. I thought it would only have to raise the weights once but then I though what happens when the rings of blocks get to the bottom? What happens when all the rings get to the same height?

Then you have to start stacking them all up to the top again.
It is great for storage  of power though, but not as great as when I originally posted this.
UPDATE>>>>>>>Oh I see: At 2:02 you can see they take blocks from the top of the outer ring and move them up higher to the inner ring. Wonder how that software program works?
