Gravity fed water tank driving an air engine.

Just something to think about.  A water tank in the attic pressurizing air at ground level which drives an air motor.

Wouldn't a water turbine be easier? Cheaper? Quicker?
Doesn't each conversion loose something?

I think he is just having fun.  :-)  Part of the problem he was having was the water could not fill the tank fast enough, so there must have been a lot of energy lost in the long tube.

A garden hose would have been better.
