Method to increase solar panel current by 125%
« on: October 17, 2020, 08:24:53 am »
Did you ever have an idea flash through your mind, for an invention but never really did anything about it, and then years later some body else makes millions of dollars off of it? I'm sure we all have.
I seem to have missed the boat a lot of times because of procrastination, lack of brain power to tackle it or just lack of courage.
Here's another one. This idea came to me a few years ago.
125% is over double the power.
"In a new study, a team of scientists from the UK, Portugal, and Brazil discovered that etching a shallow pattern of grating lines in a checkerboard design on solar cells can enhance the current generated by crystalline silicon (c-Si) by as much as 125 percent."

You thought of that years ago?  Impressive.  And far more useful than my idea of a metric clock; one that divides minutes into 100 seconds etc.  Someone else made something like that already though.

First you have to get the world to use the same calendar.
My idea was more general , it didn't specify a checkerboard design, more like facets on a gemstone.

And here it is again. People that make money from their inventions have one thing in common. They are willing to RISK IT ALL in pursuit of the idea.
