« Last post by ROB25038072 on March 23, 2025, 02:51:07 pm »Just couple photos of turbines in the dense city environment, both VAWT and HAWT. Non were moving in fact if you zoom in the ‘B&Q’ VAWT has a couple of pidgins sitting on top of the blades.
However, on the motorway there was some maintenance taking place and CCTV traffic monitoring equipment had been set up. In addition to 3 solar panels each unit had a small Savonius bolted on (roughly 300-400mm tall) presumably these draw energy from air as a result traffic movement, these were spinning but not particularly fast.
